If you are a user of a scientific program then you can participate on the
"Scientific Web" as listed below by passing on your experience and knowledge
about this program.
If the program you are working with mentioned on my listing and if you
have any interesting information, hints or experiences about it then you
can just send me a short EMAIL
message which should contain the information you wanted to publish,
the program, the version of the program and on which OS you are using it.
Is the program not mentioned on my list, then I need to have some further
information like the name of the program, the category, on which operating
systems it is available for and if possible an address of the producer
and/or a distributor.
If you know unlisted Internet addresses, user groups or mailing lists for
a specific program then just let me about it and send
me some information about it including address and access possibilities.
If you are a producer or a distributor of a scientific
program
If you are a producer or a distributor of a scientific software then you
could certainly participate in the way as an end user but you could as well
publish information about your programs or your can publish announcements
about new products. For implementing your information into my Web-Service
you only have to send
me the information about it but you have as well to follow some rules
about which information I need and which information I don't want to get.
What I do need to know:
In which category can I arrange your program in (it is possible to give
more than one category) ?
Which version number does your program have and for which operating system
is it available ?
Which hardware and/or software requirements does your program have ?
A short information (max. of 10 lines).
Optional : A detailed product information (max. of 3 pages in HTML-format)

Addresses of the producer of the program and of the distributors.
Optional : Known Internet addresses about this program.
Optional : Product announcements.
What you should pay attention of :
This Web-service is not build for making advertisement for a specific company,
it is made for informing about scientific programs. I don't want to publish
any kind of specific advertisement like pricing or special mailings/offers
!
If there are more then one company affirming to be distributor of a program
then I will publish the addresses of all of them and I will publish the
most informative product description of them !
I don't want to publish product information about freeware programs
!
I will publish your information with reservation to make several spot tests
on the correctness of the information ! Be aware that if there are wrong
information I will take them out.
